Lifelong Learning

Q8. Develop a paragraph from the stems given below as you have learned in your text book.
i. Pour water in a pot
ii. Put on fire and boil
iii. Cut vegetables into cubes
iv. Add salt and black paper
v. Serve with sauce


First, pour water in a pot and place it carefully on the stove. Then, put it on fire and allow the water to boil slowly. While the water is boiling, wash the vegetables and cut them into small cubes. After cutting, add the vegetables into the boiling pot. Stir them gently so that they cook well. Next, add salt and black pepper to give the soup a good taste. You can also cover the pot with a lid so the vegetables become soft and tasty. When everything is cooked, turn off the fire. Finally, pour the soup into bowls and serve it hot with some sauce. It is healthy, delicious, and fun to prepare at home.
